The working principle of the wire drawing machine is:
Small continuous production equipment consisting of multiple wire drawing heads. Through gradual drawing, the steel wire can be cold-rolled to the required specifications in one go, resulting in high operational efficiency. However, because the diameter of the steel wire has changed after each drawing, the operating line speed of each drawing head should also be changed. According to the configuration of the mold, the drawing speed of each drawing head will also change. The benchmark for drawing speed is the stable flow rate of steel wire passing through the mold at each moment, even if the following formula holds: π r2 × v1=π r2 × v2r: incoming wire diameter v1: incoming wire speed r: outgoing wire speed v2: outgoing wire speed. The operating speed of each drawing head of the drawing machine is based on the above formula to ensure synchronous operation of each drawing head. However, the above description is based on the ideal steady-state operation process. Due to mechanical transmission errors, mechanical transmission gaps, and dynamic work processes such as starting, accelerating, decelerating, and stopping, it is impossible to maintain each stretching head. Therefore, most synchronous wire drawing machines now have tension sensors that dynamically measure the wire tension between each wire drawing head, convert the tension into a standard signal, and use the standard signal to feedback to the speed control frequency converter and frequency converter. The controller uses this signal for PID closed-loop process control and superimposes the PID calculated adjustment value onto the main speed to maintain stable tension at each tension detection point, thereby ensuring straight line drawing.
