7月份，全国粗钢产量同比增长1.5%，增速同比减缓4.7个百分点；钢材产量增长3.7%，减缓7.2个百分点。焦炭产量增长2.8%，减缓2.8个百分点。铁合金产量增长9.4%，加快3.5个百分点。钢材出口806万吨，比上月增加99万吨；进口122万吨，比上月增加9万吨。焦炭出口50万吨，比上月减少2万吨。
1-7月，全国粗钢产量48076万吨，同比增长2.7%，增速同比减缓4.4个百分点；钢材产量64723万吨，增长5.8%，减缓4.6个百分点。焦炭产量27437万吨，下降0.5%，去年同期为增长7.1%。铁合金产量2140万吨，增长8.7%，减缓4.5个百分点。钢材出口4907万吨，增长36.9%；进口847万吨，增长5.8%。铁矿砂进口53960万吨，增长18.1%。焦炭出口443万吨，增长1.2倍。
钢材价格继续回落。7月份，国内市场钢材价格综合指数平均为92.16，比上月下降1.41点，同比下降7.23点。6.5mm高线、20mm中板、1.0mm冷轧板卷平均价格分别为3205元/吨、3406元/吨和4119元/吨，分别比上月下跌48元/吨、54元/吨和57元/吨，同比下跌8.6%、6.5%和8%。
上半年，钢铁行业实现利润747亿元，同比增长1.1%。其中，黑色金属矿采选业利润361亿元，下降2.8%；钢铁冶炼及加工业利润356亿元，增长19.8%。
